sizing & condition report... some elucidation

Vintage garments lead crazy lives in the 20-60 years before they come to you. We at deadly vintage have rigorous standards and pass up garments with obvious flaws or noticable stains --- with rare exceptions we only purchase items in near-mint to very good condition.

Here's our lil' grading system:

near-mint Seldom found in vintagewear. Sublimely purrrrfect shape -- integrity of garment is intact. No holes, stains or fading and nothing bad to report.

excellent Superb shape with no noticable flaws and no alterations. In my estimation, a near-mint garment with a innocuous & hidden flaw, such as an unravelling label or a small tea-stain to the interior lining, will fall into this category. Such flaws are always disclosed.

very good Delightfully wearable shape with no obtrusive flaws. There may be tiny faults, there may have been alterations or repairs to the garment, but any of these small but significant elements will be reported -- no unpleasant surprises!


uh hum, ARBITRARY SIZING ALERT : Below is the chart we use to assign some sizes to ladies' wearables * Please bear in mind that it's best to measure your inches & compare --- avoid using SIZE as your barometer.
