In my estimation, a near-mint garment with a innocuous or hidden flaw, such as an unraveling label or a small tea-stain to the interior lining, will fall into this category. Such flaws are disclosed. There may be small faults, there may have been alterations or repairs to the garment, but any of these small but significant elements will be reported -- no unpleasant surprises! Good Noticeable flaws. Only purchased if the item is historically significant. care & handling I use eco-friendly, secure packaging. Garments are: stuffed with 100% recycled, acid-free tissue, corded in ribbon, popped into cellophane bags and shipped in recyclable USPS Tyvek envelopes. Breakables are always shipped boxed. Many aged garments lack fabric tags and may be adversely affected by sudsy dunking --- colors might run and fabrics disintegrate. I gently wash & tidy all cotton & synthetic garments before shipping. Delicate fabrics are cleaned using a mixture of shampoo and white vinager (to reduce color run). If fabrics are dry-clean-only, I leave the cleaning to you. Digital cameras often distort delicate shades of red, green and blue. I will do my best to manipulate photos to match a frock's true colors, but since we have different monitor settings the colors may still be inaccurate at your end. Black garments are always artificially lightened to highlight the details. For these reasons, please use images as impressions - not mirrors - of a garment.
